Back to School

After a summer holiday that seems too long for some, and too short for others, it is time to get back into the classroom. Some of our students haven’t seen the inside of a classroom for much longer than just the summer holiday due to Covid restrictions. When I asked one of mine how she felt about going back, the answer was, “sad and angry!” and I felt bad for her.

It is a shame that our traditional school systems do not cater to the creativity and free spirited nature some of our students possess. We do hope that by getting to know our students better, we can offer them something they don’t normally find inside the classroom. An extra level of personalization that makes our lessons something to look forward to.
