Ocean’s by the Atlantic

One of my students goes by the name of Ocean. I set up a great spot to teach him with a view over the Altlantic Ocean during our family’s summer holiday to the west coast of France. Ocean really got a kick out of the idea that I was by the ocean, and we spent some time learning about geography and the part of the world where we happen to be.

The ability to teach from anywhere with a decent Internet connection really changes the way we can live our lives. It also adds a lot of depth and richness to the conversations we have with our students and the specific topics they are able to learn about.
